The Goal Line Stand by Daniel Moore
Framed Artwork will be shipped and delivered after Christmas
No single play represents Coach Paul “ Bear” Bryant’s defensive football philosophy better than the historic goal line stand against Penn State in the 1979 Sugar Bowl. With fourth and goal inside Alabama’s one-yard line, the Crimson Tide defense rose to the challenge of a “gut-check” - one of Coach Bryant’s favorite phrases. The Classical defensive effort preserved victory for Alabama, clinching its tenth national championship; the fifth under Coach Bryant.
